A separated shoulder played a big part in that as well. The season before, when he was healthy, Holmes scored 41 points in 23 games.

I have the first penalty in there...Not a problem. I mistook Tozzo's penalty for McCullough and then just noticed Tozzo wasn't even on the boxscore!

I have the first penalty in there... At 19:42 of the second, Geoffrion called both Anthony Becker and Chris Robinson for roughing. On-ice manpower is not affected. Oh man, I just noticed Tozzo's penalty isn't even in the box score as well! That Changes everything! Wow!

No Daisy, I haven't, but I will make it a goal of mine to do so before the end of the season. Now that you mention it, I think I should make a page with all the Podcasts to make it easier for everyone to find what they are looking for. I never thought I'd have the library of audio that I do now, so I might as well make it easy for you guys.

I know that they are free to go, hence the reason why Andrew Scampoli went to Holland when he had the opportunity. I've also been informed by a member of the organization that these guys can be waived at any time, making things extremely rough for them. If that is indeed the case [I'm guessing it is, since you seem privy to some information directly from Neville himself] it's a sad day. Neville has played very well for this team and deserves an opportunity to test the waters a bit. No one, including myself expects him to be a career EPHLer. I wrote an article about him a month or so ago that you may dig. Check it out. Definitely your taste since you seem to be a big fan of Nev's. http://www.acesoverbrooklyn.com/2009/01/01/nevill... As far as my assessment goes on Neville's last game against Hudson Valley, I'm sure he would agree that he wasn't at his best. And if you are indeed close to him, you have to get used to people writing the truth about him. It's not done to hurt feelings. It's done so people know the truth. Over the first 15 games, I did nothing but sing the kid's praises. His last few starts he hasn't been as strong. As I said before, I can't aford to play favorites. I just call 'em the way I see 'em. If he gets the start tonight and is indeed strong, that's exactly what I'll write. I have no ulterior motives here. This is my job.

When did I say Neville was the backup? For the second time, you have put words in my mouth and found meanings to suit whatever agenda it is you have. This team has no backup. Rather an alternating system that rewards both goaltenders when they play well. I said a few weeks ago that Recicar had the top spot for the foreseeable future, but now with his past few performances, Neville is due for a few more starts. As far as being punished, I'm sorry to say you have been grossly misinformed. The coach is the one who allows players to be called up in the first place. Why do you think Danbury's Hank Carisio and Obi Aduba got called up for Elmira a last week, when that team has had a working relationship with the Aces this season? I'll tell you why, because Firriolo told them he couldn't spare a player for the weekend, so they went elsewhere. Players never have control of whether they get called up or not. Rather than mention crack pipes or talk in capital letters to express my point, I'll say this. For you to even think that Neville has control over getting called up shows how much you know. As far as who the better goaltender is, it's a tough call. I think Neville has played better on paper and was better through the first stretch of games the team had. Recicar looked excellent before his last two starts though. Now it's completely up in the air. Rather than yell at me and accuse me of using narcotics lol, let's just say that I agree with your assessment, but being a journalist prohibits me from being a fan, like you, and picking favorites.

I didn't harp on anything. I said it wasn't his best performance of the season.Winning the game isn't important either, as it was against a team they knew they were going to beat. Simply put, Neville has to be sharper against a team like HV. Also, stats don't always tell the whole story. I also said: Nonetheless, in spite of their recent play, both Neville and Recicar have been a huge factor in the team’s success this season. If either one can step up and regain the form they’ve had for most of the season, the team should regain their winning ways. I also said that Recicar is the one that should be in the bench tonight. Why you are getting all riled up when I feel the same way as you is pretty strange. Also, I'm a journalist, not an equipment buyer. Take that argument up with the Aces themselves.
