Actually to get our money we have to seize the engine and have the vehicle crushed. After the vehicle has been reported smashed we get our money. It takes about 5 hours to fill out all the paper work for each vehicle, Our office staff is working a ton of over time. What we have been doing is parking the sold and the junker in the back of our building and once we get our money they get their new car. The big problems have been that the goverment keeps changing the qualifications so some vehicles that did qualify, no longer do and we have to report that we have smashed the car. Well if the deal falls through because we have not been paid for the customer gets back their vehicle but that vehicle is now reported that it has been smashed. This is simply unbeleivable
The Cash for Clunkers program is being paid for by our tax dollars, so why do the Import new cars qualify for this program when their profits go overseas and do not pay our taxes? I am in the car buisness and this program is a disaster, and this is the same Goverment that wants to take over Health Care!!! No Thanks!!!!

Iam sure they do and Elliot you probably studied hard in school and iam sure that your parents where very proud of those A's that you got but, Little Jimmy didnt study at all but had a good time and got that F grade. Elliot i know you worked hard but i think it is best if we give you and Jimmy C's. That is a soccialist idea Fair? Elliot I thank you for your post. I am proud to say i was raised in a trailor with not much money my father commited suicide when i was young and i was raised by my mother. After graduating i joined the United States Army (and very proud of it)! I have accomplished alot in my life ( money, family and the love of GOD) I had the oppurtunity to Succeed in the Greatest Country in the World It didnt become Great just a 100 days ago. We the people have made this Country Great not the Goverment. Answer this question for me, There are Thousands of goverment Programs just name 3 that are a financial success, Since you cant do that name 1. So if I have read your post right and please correct if Iam wrong but, you think giving our money to the Goverment is a good idea. What since does that make? Dont give our freedoms to the Federal goverment that has shown they cant run their own agencies but now are gonna run the banking system and the car industry.
That is correct, And he had to overcome John Adams Federalist , As he loaded the The new Judicial system with Federalist Judges. I think everytime someone says that they cant tell the difference between the Republicans and the Dems. Is because they where once the same.
