Alaska's News and Information on CBS Channel 11 News - KTVA : KTVA Responds to Miller Campaign Allegation - KTVA

I'm not sure I even understand what this means. Are you saying that the only people that would prosecute these people are Republicans? You may be right - witness Holder and the non-prosecution of the New Black Panthers. I do find it amusing that you think I might be upset by this, though. Personally, I'd be disgusted with anyone that DIDN'T explore criminal proceedings against this whole group. BTW, I'm an American first by God's grace, Conservative by nature and Republican only by necessity.

Nancy, they just restored the comments to where they were yesterday. I see my old comments from the very beginning of this. Hundreds and hundreds of responses gone. No doubt they'll blame it on the blog software, at which point if I were intensedebate (the comment software folks) I'd sue them. This is a nasty group of entitled elitists.

I mean, seriously, KTVA, who in your management is approving the deletion of comments? If you don't want to hear the truth, just shut down comments on the article. Well, you'd probably have to shut them down for the whole website, but hey, why not? Censorship is sort of an all-or-nothing thing. Hey, CBS, is this your policy? Just mass delete comments?

As I said earlier (and was scrubbed): time to take an evening off and do what I would normally not do ... watch CBS ... and make a list of the sponsors of every show. Then I'll write each one and explain that I'm boycotting them for advertising on a station that's involved in federal election tampering. It's one thing when the staff gets caught doing something, it's another thing entirely when management tries to explain it away. As long as this guy keeps his job I won't buy anything advertised by a sponsor of CBS.

Ed, we're voting Republican not because we love and trust the GOP, but because in almost every race, the Republican represents a more conservative position than the Democrat. But that doesn't mean we're beholden to them! As TR says, they're on probation and if they fall back to the old ways, we primary them out in 2012. Congress needs the same instructions as a bottle of shampoo: lather, rinse, repeat! November 2nd is going to be a great victory for conservatism. Regardless of the numbers or whether we take both houses, we will have sent a message and we can enjoy it ... for about a day. I say bask in the glow on November 3rd and then the REAL job starts November 4th. The first thing everybody ought to do is send a letter to their representative telling them they will be watched. Imagine your first day on the job and there's a mountain of mail from your constituents all addressed to "Congressman Joe Walsh, or current resident". Anyway, have a Happy Halloween everyone. Gotta go get AJ ready for some Trick or Treating.

Breitbart.com : End in sight, health care battle tilts Obama\'s way

I don't know why Breitbart posts this sort of hackery. David Espo has been a far Left bootlicker for years. His only purpose in life is to spout the Dem line - hence the "Special Correspondent" tag. The only way this thing passes is if Pelosi convinces the wavering Dems that it's inevitable, and that's far from the truth. This thing isn't "tilting" anywhere - Pelosi is simply trying anything to buy some last votes. It's legislative corruption at its worst, and folks like Espo are the propogandist lapdogs.

Big Hollywood : 'Teabaggers': Roger Ebert Trashes His Own Fans (and Palin) on Twitter

Absolutely untrue. Please point to a single report wherein a Tea Partier uses the term "teabagger" to refer to themselves or another member of the Tea Party. I suggest your memory is a bit faulty. Your subsequent comments though, indicate that your unsubstantiated statement on the teabagger phrase is more bias than bad recollection.

Whenever someone starts something like this, all you have to do is go to history. The Wilmington, NC, Star News has a great list of questions but I'll post only a couple of them. Check the link and pass it around. Link: http://forums.starnewsonline.com/eve/forums/a/tpc... Question #8. A sitting U.S. Senator once held the position of Exalted Cyclops in the Klu Klux Klan. Although he never served in the Armed Forces, he once wrote, “I shall never fight in the armed forces with a Negro by my side.” Of which party is he a member? Republican or Democrat? Question #9: In the U.S. Senate’s passage of the landmark Civil Rights Act of 1964, which political party had the highest percentage of its Senators vote for the Act? Republicans or Democrats?
