I have used the OSX86 solution for all of the DEv-TEaM OSX Jail breaks. Currently running OSX Leopard 10.5.8 on Intel I7 PC. Custom IPSW created for 2G, 3G and 3GS with no issues. Dev-Team Flawless Victory. All windows users should check out the OSX86 Project. No need to complain to DEV-TEAM for single platform releases. OSX86 is dual-boot capable.

I am asking about a dev-tem tool and you have answered the question with boot neuter. I referenced the BR warning so you would have the context. I wanted to know if the DEV team tool would work if I decided to use BR. I am not looking or care for BR support. Why do you all bash dev-team loyal followers for simple questions. You answered my question in your first post you did not have to bash me afterwards. kindness is always better... done with this string

Thanks Speedy, just noticed that the recover ipsw have different fw id numbers than the restore ipsw and there is only one for each phone and ipod. I would think the factory would have a way of loading any version. Just like the unlock database??? b/r

Does anyone know what the ....recovery....ipsw files are on the apple download site. These are available along side the ....restore....ipsw files for the various releases. Does apple have a special ipsw that will allow restore to any version reguardless of signing???

Thank You Dev-Team... One Question: I have Factory Unlocked iPhone 3G(S) I bought my iPhone 3G(S) for $$$$$$$. My phone is already unlocked so I do not need to worry about baseband updates, My device was Pwned at 3.0 and 3.0.1. When I use your PwnageTool 3.1.3, will it allow me to update to the current baseband and jailbreak; or will the tool by default maintain the old baseband after the update. Does not really matter to me to keep to old BB; but would like to know what to expect or configure if I want the new BB along with the JB.

Dev-Team, Thank you for the 3G unlock. May have discovered a bug... On a 3G iPhone using ATT sim, with ultrasn0w installed: Video voice mail does not work. Phone will dial into regular voice mail with no problems; however buttons to disconnect will not function. Removed US and everything back to normal. Reinstalled US again to verify with same results. There are no issues when using T-Mobile sim only when using ATT sim. Thanks again Dev-Team; My iPhone 3G is Golden again...

ATT Service Cancellation You may cancel service within 30 days from the activation date to avoid the early termination fee of $175. Thereafter the fee will decrease by $5 each month for the term of the agreement. You will be responsible for all applicable usage fees, prorated access charges, taxes, surcharges or other charges through the termination date. AT&T will refund your activation fee, if any, if service is terminated within 3 days of activation. The 175. cancel fee would be recovered with lower T-Mobile service cost.

You can buy an iPhone from apple without ATT contract. It is pretty expensive see cart info below. Seems like canceling after 30 days would be the least cost. 299.00 + 175.00. The thing is; if you buy without ATT plan is the phone unlocked. i.e. Italy iPhone Store. This Cart is US iPhone Store.
I took my ATT 3G sim and put it in my 2G that is JB/unlock for T-Mob. I noticed the ATT account website then updated my phone to reflect 2G. When I put the sim back into the 3G the website updated again. Wonder if I could put the 3G ATT sim in my 3GS and get it to work without activation. 3GS still in sealed box.
