I refused to fill out the survey as it ALWAYS seeks a donation. I sent a letter (snail mail) to the RNC telling them that until they learn to win, act like winners, and pretty much act like they (sorry for the language) have a pair, I will NOT be sending them any more funds.

I will support individual comapaigns of candidates I agree with but NOT the RNC. This is part of the reason I am no longer a Republican but a member of the American Conservative Party. I'll still support Real Republican candidates but not the National Party. They have become Democrat Lite.

I just spent the weekend in Philadelphia doing the tourist thing. Checked out all the historical sights.
While standing in Independence Hall, in the room where it all took place, I got the overwhelming urge to run for some office. Our Founders put it all on the line and the way things have progressed I believe we are to the point where the only way to take our Nation back is for 912ers to do more than post on the web, go to rallies, etc. I truly believe that we need to do what our Founders did and put it on the line.

Perhaps if enough people who respect the Constitution run for various offices and win we can take our Country back.

Congress has record low ratings. I know, big news flash. You're absolutely correct in wondering why if approval ratings are so low why is the re-election rate so high. Fair question. I think many folks share the first line of your post, " most of my representatives are not part of the problem."

It's easy to blame some one else's Member of Congress or Senator but it is a different matter when the bad apple is yours. Hey, I'm in Connecticut and I have to deal with Country-wide Dodd.

The reality is, that we have this mess because most of Congress IS the problem. I am encouraging as many people as I can to take an anti-incumbant approach for the next few election cycles. We need to vote these people out.

You are absolutely correct for the period of time it would take for a new party to get to a power position. However, would it be reasonable to say that with all the RINOS that we're already getting screwed? Just a thought. My scenario is a long term project and to be realistic, we probably do not have that kind of time.

What keeps me going these days is the momentum for a return to what the Constitution actually says our current group of politicians has ignited. While only a start I am cautiously optimistic that we may be getting some traction to take our Country back. Will it happen soon. Probably not. e need to keep the momentum. Will it be easy? No. Hopefully the anger and rage people are feeling continue to eat at us and come Election Time we remember. Our biggest obstacle right now is a short memory.

We are getting people to think. I think we made a little noise, look at how the driveby media and Hollywood freaked out over the Tea Parties. We hit a mark with their reactions but we cannot back down from their trying to shout us down. The greater the points we make, the louder and more insane the Left will be.

So "Let's Roll" and take our Country back! We the People hold the power. Let's realize that and use it. Our power is at the voting booth. Vote these clowns out.

Wait until your father gets home. Maybe this is exactly what our politicians need to hear. Only let's change it to We the people have come home and it's time the nonsense stops!

I'm with you. I think we all do want to be left alone. Especially form government.
