I'm rooting for The Artist and Moneyball. Both were excellent films, and could use more recognition from their peers.

It was our biggest foreign policy mistake up until 2003, when we invaded Iraq. Hopefully we don't go down that road again, and start a war with Iran. War with Iran would be an even bigger disaster than both of those debacles.

According to our constitution, she was entitled to trial by jury of her peers. She received that, and was acquitted. I didn't follow the trial at all, but I believe in our court system and our constitution. In my mind justice was served . You guys might not agree with the outcome, but you sure as hell should agree with the process.

Cape Fear was my favorite film of the year. I would've chosen it. Although Anthony Hopkins was great in Silence, his role was more like a supporting role. He should have won that award, and De Niro should have won best actor.
