One of the reason our traffic laws DON'T WORK is the fines are wayyyyy to low. Make it $1,500.00 for a first offense $ 5,000.00 and loss of your car for 6 months on the next offense then you will get peoples attention. These scum in Olympia will have to get their faces out of the cell phone industry trough and do what right for the people and not the cell phone companys who in many cases write the legislation and recommend the fines. Ya know if my city is hurting for money, and most citys are hurting for money right now I say bring in all those cameras you can get. If we need to collect revenue then lets take it from people who are breaking the law. I see absolutley nothing wrong with that and I actually see a lot right with that. If we can't control drunk drivers, which apparently we can't then lets at least get some revenue from the scum that run red lights and speed.

Lets just suppose for a moment that we had all kind of prison guards and they could patrol in pairs. I'm telling you right now you put a gal with me on that yard and I'm leaving. Same with riding with a gal in a patrol car no way in the world. And you can take all that "training" stuff and put it where the sun don't shine. A 5' 120 lb gal can't cover anyones back. Thats a fact.
