Breitbart.com : Senators blast Web sites for scamming shoppers

Buyer beware .... but don't mess with the freedom of the net! When Congress gets involved it usually doesn't turnout well for the common man. Common sense would say that you deal with companies you trust and if a deal is too good to be true .... it is!

This story disturbs me on a level that few news stories have been able to. I watched the second plane fly into the WTC, watched the war in Iraq begin, and on and on and on and on, but to think about the horror this little 5 year old girl endured as her mother handed her over for prostitution made me sick to my stomach. Not that all the others were not horrors ... they were on a scale I can't fathom. But the thought of this ONE innocent little girl's neglect by her MOTHER made me wretch. It was not a terrorist killing thousands, it was not an army facing an army, it was the mother of a child who was totally dependant upon her for her care and safety. I think that is what is killing me. The image of the man carrying her onto the elevator to do who knows what to her at the hotel and the smile on his face is burned into my brain. Disgust for all involved is all I can feel.

I'm shocked that we need a job summit, this must be serious. I thought the stimulus was working so well and that we are not on the brink of disaster anymore. I thought with all the spending we have done rainbows and lollipops were in our future. It would make sense to have the summit with the same advisors he has listened to so far. I wonder if he has a fiddle because I do think Rome is on fire.

We have debt that is already so high it would be near impossible to pay back and keep spending like junkies. We are printing money at a rate that has never been seen in the history of the world. It makes no sense at all - unless it is on purpose? I HOPE that we have one more chance to elect officials who undertand how important it is to get back to the Consitution before it is forever too late. That is the CHANGE I'm looking for.

My thoughts are prayers are with the family and friends of this soldier. I'm so thankful to our military for their sacrifices. Being a wife of a retired Navy man I know some of the sacrifices that family makes and my heart is with all of them today on Veteran's Day.

I can say for sure that I will be working as hard as I can to show Mr. Schrader the door. He has been much less than receptive to even listening to us regarding health care (or anything else). Oregon has been a liberal state for a long time and I hope it is ready for a change. For many months Oregon was #2 in the nation for unemployment right behind Michigan. We are in shambles economically and on track to become even worse. Enough is enough. I've always voted, but never worked in the election process and this time WILL be different.

Well I hope all the little Acorns didn't fall too far from the tree!! It would be wonderful if they could just keep digging up all the little acorns that are buried. Then after all the "nuts" are gathered they can chop down the tree and make firewood or would that be bad for the enviornment? :o)

Breitbart.com : Obama visits wounded US soldiers at Walter Reed

It would seem that he has taken some heat after yesterday's mishandling of his words to the nation after the shooting at Fort Hood. I was appalled at his lack of emapthy when starting his remarks. He gave a shout out to an important man in the audience and even mixed up the Medal of Honor and Medal of Freedom in the shout out. Whipping the crowd up into cheers for their distinguished guest and then he dropped the bomb on the regarding the shooting. Then without even a moment of silence moved into his speach! I was stunned. Obama has a very strange relationship with the military. He is akward and seems hard to try to look like he is trying to do all the right things and seems to always come up short. So someone must have encouraged him to quick do something to make you look like you care and understand. Quick make up for your lack of consideration in your remarks to the nation. Sad. Even if he doesn't really understand the military common sense should have prevailed. PS - people will try to say I'm wrong .... if he just wanted to visit the troops to visit the troops we would have not heard or seen it .... just saying.
