I picked up on an idea about healthcare being available through non profits.

I have been saying this for years. When I lost my job and started my consulting business I was a member of 3 professional organizations. If I could have purchased group health through one or all three, I would have been fine. Luckily my husband had insurance. But why is this an issue?

If the government really wanted to help people that are out of work, this could be done TODAY!!!!!!! without having to figure out how to pay for it. It could also be available through faith-based groups. If healthcare was distributed over so many layers, the costs would have to come down because the service providers would only be at risk for a small portion of the cost and that is only in the event of a castostrophic illness.

What do you say!!!!!!?????????.

I listened to every word of Sarah Palin's speech. It was perfectly clear as to why she was making this decision; to best serve her state finanially and politically (she had become a liability due to no fault of her own), financially (the only why she could get these ethic complaints to step aside), supporting her ideals did not require being Gov. YET I am still hearing talkin heads share their confusion about what she really meant. Whose being stupid?

I even heard a guy this week say that the "I can see Russia from my front porch" statement as justifiction to believe she is stupid to imply that gives her credibility with foreign affairs. It was taken out of context and was more reflective about how Alaskans are probably more aware about national security than most states; it was a sagway comment that precided her position statement - but that is all anyone want t focus on.

Just like when Obama said we have 57 states. Does this mean he is stupid?

I hope she does not run for President; I just want her to make everyone that does miserable so she can stay on the offensive and never have to defend her positions. Go Sarah GO!!!!!!!!!!

Dear (Nancy Pelosi, Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Arlen Specter, Susan Collins, Olympia Snow, Louise Slaughter, Jerry Nadler, Gerry Connolly, Bernie Sanders, Henry Waxman, Edward Markey, Mary Bono Mack, Castle, Kirk, Lance, LoBiondo, McHugh, Reichert, Smith et al.)

I am writing you because; even though I do not have the right to vote in your district, I do have the right to support others that run against you.

Therefore, please be advised that I will be making a contribution to your opponent. This contribution will be replicated every time I see evidence that you continue to serve your personal ideology in lieu of representing the best interest of our nation and the rights of “the people.”

This July 4th I will be sending the following to people that are in elected office that do not represent our country but their special interests:

I believe in the individual.
I believe every human being walking the face of the earth is entitled to freedom and the right to pursue self-fulfillment; as long as this pursuit does not impede the freedom of others to do the same.
I believe in a healthy media that encourages debate and serves as an arena for ideas.
I believe local and state government should enact laws reflective of the constituents they serve; and should citizens feel their beliefs are not represented by these laws they should enjoy the freedom to seek communities that do.
I believe the federal government is a necessity for the purpose of interstate infrastructure, national security and protection of the Bill of Rights and the Constitution as it was written or amended by the states.

In contrast, you continue to demonstrate your belief that the American people are defined by groups and labels in lieu of the individual; thereby promoting a culture that does not value individual responsibility and accountability. You are getting your needs met at my expense.

My father was in the 82nd Airborne; while on the tarmac getting ready for a jump behind enemy lines in Germany, he received word Patton had overtaken the jump zone. In the spirit of General George Patton and my father, I am stepping up, standing up and taking action for the country I love. This is my first post on the 912 Project page and it is dedicated to all that have served to give me this right.

Daddy raised me to love my country and to stand up to oppression founded in a belief that people are best defined by groups and labels in lieu of the individual. This belief promotes a culture that does not value individual responsibility and accountability. I thank God that he did not live to see what is happening to his country today.

I love you Daddy, this is for you……
