I am so sorry about your dog. When we loose one I just have to remember the dog had the best life possible and unfortunately they do not get to live as long as we do.

Glad your girl is better ! Great link too. I switched my girls to food I get at a feed store called Chicken Soup for the dog lovers soul.
The difference it has made in my 11 year old boarder collie mix is incredible, it's almost as if she is aging backwards. She had so much arthritis in her she was having a hard time getting up and down. Now, after changing to this food she is actually jumping up to see whats on the counter (great behavior) hmm.

The video was great but what really amazed me were the words to the song. If I am not mistaken this was written in the 70's about the English transformation into a socialist country. Sad how closely it fits today.

This really got me thinking about the Saudi connection not only to the pres but also to Fox news. Could the Saudis be the reason the Hannity special was pulled? Why if the Saudi prince was a backer of the Pres's education is it also a part owner of Fox? I just don't get it. Anyone care to enlighten me

I do this regularly with the St Petersburg times in Florida. Funny this morning I commented on an article about the Obama school speech and was called out as a raciest. All I asked was if kids are not required to say the Pledge, why should they be required to watch the Prez. This was actually an observation made by my daughter who is a teacher.

My daughter, who is a staunch conservative, but also a teacher just called to let me know her county will not be airing the President's speech. Apparently the state of Florida is saying this is a states right issue and the districts can decide weather or not to air the speech. Great news for a Friday afternoon. Didn't want everyone to think all teachers are like Weezo

I have my own pack, two boarder collie mixes, a shepherd mix and a collie mix, Yesterday fed-x delivered a rain barrel to my door. The poor guy literally ran from my front door because my girls are so intimating, no one is allowed close to their mom without her permission. Don't have too many solicitors either because they sound the alarm if anyone comes up the driveway.

Does anyone have any experience with solar generators? I have a gas generator but cannot store much gas due to "wonderful " deed restrictions prohibiting outside sheds. Thought solar might be the way to go. What I really want is something to keep a small ac unit going in case of extended power outages, I'm not a nice person if I am hot!
