I really think that most people don't care to maintain either plants or fish. As the plants die off replace them with plastic, as for the fish, do like a friend of mine and hang phony fish from thread.:)

You surely can, you can even use one layer of fiberglass cloth if desired. Build the hull (tub) and and seal it in epoxy, fair it out and then soak the surface in epoxy, lay your glass and apply another coat of epoxy over the glass, work out all air pockets with a fiberglass roller, fair again, apply epoxy again, if need be until you have faired to the finish you desire. The layer of fiberglass becomes transparent when the epoxy soaks into it and you don't even know it's been glassed.

I can almost promise that it's steam bent, especially if he was a boat builder. But I like your idea of using an existing hull better.

A lot of steam bending, fairing, epoxy, more fairing, polishing = many man hours and expense. That's why wooden boats take so long and are not cheap. Maybe next time you do your dock, you can use this method.:D

Go back and check again, even BC 2014 (still my favorite) was only valued in the 400's. Not much more than they paid for it.

Funny, this round came up awhile back and I voted on it which made me comment on colors. I guess it was ahead of the game and they took it down rather quickly to be replaced with round one voting. I know some others caught it also.

The voting is on design and materials that will be used not colors, i.e. exposed beam ceiling vs planked walls, what types of flooring etc. nothing is mentioned about colors in this round, so don't let the stock pictures sway your voting.
