It could be that people are simply running out of unemployment benefits. It is my understanding that once your unemployment benefits run out you are no longer considered to be unemployed (even if you are). Instead, you are considered to be someone who has "dropped out of the workforce" and you are therefore no longer thought to be unemployed. This is one of the many tricks that our government uses to keep the unemployment stats down. One thing you can count on, if these numbers came from the Obama Administration, they are a lie. Bank on it.
