Except Niels is talking only about Unicorns, Cadence is not a Unicorn... Sorry, my OCD demanded of me at gunpoint to correct you on that one.

Except, trains in Equestria still run on coal. So I guess everyone is right, in a way?

It wasn't violence or killing what drove me to do what I do (which sounds stupid after telling you what I do). I don't condone it nor I enjoy it. Sadly, however, what we do is sometimes the only option, and someone has to get their hands dirty so that others don't have to. That is why I love MLP, there is no need for people like me to do what I do.

True. About 10% of Americans are in the military. Of that 10% only about 7% of us are all about direct combat.

As an Infantryman in the 82nd and a MLP aficionado I can try to explain #1 to you.
The way I see it, my daily life is so full of male bravado, guns, foul language and the Infantry mentality (It's a pretty simple job, one of the simplest in the military, jump out of airplanes and kill people.) that I'd like to have a break from all of it and engage in something less grim and violent. Why should everything in my life be about violence and 'manliness'?
