Haha. At this point, even if Obama released an actual certificate, there will always be a cloud hanging over his legitimacy. Obama has simply waited too long; any remaining doubts will always have a degree of justification, due to the inordinate amount of hesitation the administration has demonstrated in refusing to simply plop out an actual certificate. Unfortunately, with the newly-elected "conservative" leadership already brushing the issue away, it seems that the genuineness of Obama's naturalized citizenship will be consigned to the conspiracy dustbin--although the issue is still a serious one that deserves examination. I guess we chalk up the disinterest to one more nail in the constitutional coffin. Another commenter mentioned that this was second only to Nixon's resignation in term of disgracing the executive office. I disagree: it is third. The first two are Nixon's resignation and the Monica Lewinsky scandal. It is rather perverse, in that Obama recruits the guy guilty of the second most disgraceful presidential act in order to help him achieve the third most disgraceful thing--the de facto "throwing up of his hands" and saying, "I cannot handle this job."; in asking a former president and publicity hound like Bill Clinton to do this, Barack Obama did exactly that. However, there were way too many unanswered questions: What was the significance of Aaron? What was the significance of Walt? Who was responsible for the supply drop at the Hatch? I think Lost became too complex for its own good. In a successful attempt to create a perpetual stream of cliffhangers and lure people back for more, the producers/writers created way too many questions. Eventually, the question list snowballed to the point of becoming unmanageable. Hence, the vague ending. All in all, I believe Lost deserves a 9.8 out of 10.
