Given that the EU army doesn't exist, it's perhaps too soon to judge whether it would also have the same flexibility.

What's not in doubt is that if we leave the EU we give up any influence we might have had over it.

Oh, come now, old thing - every time I point out that only 37% of the electorate voted to leave the EU, and an almost statistically insignificant 12% voted for the company trading as The Brexit Party Ltd at the EU elections, I get a rather dusty response from my fellow inmates.

And yet here you are, bold as brass making the same comparisons when it suits you.

That's simple. It's only the Little Englanders who see EU membership as a disadvantage. Scotland isn't the one out of step - it's England.

The comment about sending Cde Corbyn in a taxi to inform Her Maj that he's taking over was stupid beyond words. Cde McDonnell is supposed to be reaching out to moderates, not making them run a mile.

This pair shouldn't be allowed near Downing Street, and it is up to all of we moderates to make sure they don't get the chance.

The next GE needs to be a case study in tactical voting, so that the extremists on both sides can be neutered.

Forgive me, but I don't recall saying that I had any military expertise. I simply offered an opinion, which on a discussion board such as this is not a particularly unusual occurrence.
