Buffzone.com: CU sports from the Daily Camera : CU football: Buffs\' offense looks for better results vs. UMass - Buffzone

Lindgren's dishonesty bothers me more than his arrogance. The last sentence of this quote is just an outright lie: "At the end of the game, we got down a couple of scores and we needed to try to get it back quicker," Lindgren said. "I think that's probably the reason that we got away from it at the end. I don't feel like we got away from it until maybe the fourth quarter." Mike Mac's future rests in large part on Lindgren's schemes and play-calling. I hope he is ready to override his pass-happy ex QB OC when he decides to force a square peg into a round hole. MM only needs 5 more wins this season to be "safe". If he hasn't already ripped Lindgren a new one then there is something very wrong with this picture. I agree with Hutch, about living to see the day where beating CSU was a big deal. Or for that matter Umass.

Buffzone.com: CU sports from the Daily Camera : CU at Hawaii notes: Buffs\' defense shows improvement - Buffzone

Why can everyone else clearly see that we should have stuck with the run game (and Adkins carrying the rock) except for Lindgren and MM? If this is on Lindgren alone then MM should releive him of his play-calling responsibilities. If both of them are responsible then we are in for a rough ride. Low-risk high-yield play. Hand the ball off to Adkins, get 6 yards a pop. The old adage - run it til they stop it(or until you see the safeties creeping up). Should have run this play every 1st down on every series of the second half. Actually we did do this on the 1st drive of the 2nd half to pull to 17 - 18. They could not stop it and they were tiring. Then Lindgren decided to go 3 & out, 3 drives in a row, using the incomplete forward pass as his primary weapon. Neinas should be shown the door immediately. It appeared as if we couldn't even get the correct personnel out on the field for the 1st punt DISASTER. And Shay Fields looks like he has never even practiced fielding punts.

Buffzone.com: CU sports from the Daily Camera : CU football: Hard work pays off for Ryan Moeller - Buffzone

SLB.................DT.................NT.................DT.................WDE Gilbert.........Kafovalu.........Solis.............Lopez...........McCartney Awini...........Franke...........Jackson........Carrell...........Coleman Matthewes...................................................................Hasselbach Howard........................................................................Robbins Dejon ............................MIKE........................WILL ...........................Gillam.....................Olugbode ...........................Gamboa .................Falo ...........................Shaver ...................Severson Awini will play some nickelback too. Or the OLB position if we ever line up in a 4 – 3 When we shift from the 3-4 to the 4–2–5 nickel package we’ll pull the NT or the weakside DT and put in the nickel back. When we shift to the dime we’ll pull the other of the down linemen that we left in on the nickel(NT or weak DT) and put in the dime back. My guess is that Gilbert, McCartney, Kafovalu, Olugbode, and Gillam rarely leave the field when it’s truly meaningful. Nor does Crawley, Chido, Tedric, or Moeller.

Pretty shameful for you to continue to rip on this 20 year old kid that has done nothing but try to do his best for the Buffs. Same with Stalzer. You really should be ashamed of your childish behavior yet you continue to belabor this point. You are one pathetic old man and I'm sure that both Talton and Stalzer dwarf you in both class and dignity (and basketball).

Hahahah. Good job Tua. I see you made the muddled, bitter, little VKbuffooon angry by posting correct info. Your facts are easily verified by analyzing the recruiting classes at rivals or scout. I noticed that he did not bold his silly little Notes in his response to you. It seems that a few more Embree recruits, Wilson, Ross and Wright, have been passed by on the depth chart by younger more talented players. Of the 27 Juniors that buffooon cites above, 2 are JC signees(Robbins and Laguda) by MacIntyre this offseason, and 2 are transfer players from last years MacIntyre class(Callahan and Wiefels). Also Jordan Carrel and Witherspoon are MacIntyre's recruits. Embree had terrible attrition in his recruiting classes as clearly indicated by the tiny Senior class this coming season.

Buffzone.com: CU sports from the Daily Camera : CU men\'s basketball: Buffs\' Fletcher stepping up his game - Buffzone

The problem with your starting lineup is that you're playing 2 guys out of position and Fletcher isn't capable of being a starting 3 at this point. Wes is the best 5 on the team so let him stay there. XJ is the best 4 on the team so let him stay there. Miller, Scott, and Thomas can back them up. Keep Collier at the 1 and use Fortune and Hopkins at the 2 and 3. Maybe George King can provide some punch at the 3 but I personally don't think Fletcher will be able to provide valuable minutes at the 3 until he is a Senior.

Buffzone.com: CU sports from the Daily Camera : Colorado football: Some thoughts on hiring new defensive coaches - Buffzone

Nice try, You're the buffoon whose unintelligible garble on this blog makes you appear to be drunk. NOTE 1: Pull your head up out of the gutter before posting some more nonsense. Although it is truly so stupid I derive enjoyment from it laughing at your idiocy. NOTE 2: Who gives a crap what your views are on Mac. NOTE 3: Your personal insults to anyone that disagrees with your very narrow-minded perspective always follow the same theme. Something about inbred genetics or some such drivel. You probably thought that up when you looked in the mirror. Who was correct regarding the basketball team? What an idyet.

You're so critical of the candidates and speculative rejections, please put forth your list of viable candidates for the open position and please don't mention any of the former Embree staff that were justifiably FIRED for complete incompetence. From what I can tell you're still angry that Embree and the boys were dumped. Why else would you be so critical of this new Head Coach? You're not a Buff fan you are an Embree fan. Good luck with that.

If the buffaloes win tonight I think they may be able to go about .500 in conference play and possibly get an NIT invite. A loss places them in the P12 bottom-feeder category. It all falls on Booker and XJ to shoot them out of a zone so Scott may be able to score. They need to start and play Dom Collier to start preparing for next year. Boyle - Please remove Fletcher from the 8 man rotation.

The problem with this team is twofold: Josh Scott just isn't very good(I have to laugh at the bandwagon jumpers that kept saying Josh would be POY P12). Tad Boyle is enamored with athletes but not so much with good smart basketball players. The last I checked the game was about putting the ball through the hole. Give Askia and XJ the green light, take the wraps off of Colier and Miller, and play Wes or Josh at the 5 for rebounding/defense. Do not play both at the same time.
