All i really expect to hear is about how HARD they are working for me to make my life better! At least I made myself feel better for a while by asking the questions. How we FEEEEEEL is what it is all about, right? HA.

I e-mailed both of my Senators and my Representative over the weekend concerning healthcare. I know it is only Monday night, but I have yet to hear back from any of them. I went to thier web sites and read thier views on healthcare and refuted thier stand in the e-mails that I sent. Can't wait to see what they have to say!
I would like to see Obama 'fix' medicare/medicaid before he starts on the rest of the health care industry. So far gov hasn't been able to run it right. As for 'Health care coverage you can take with you', If you purchase a plan yourself, without accepting the plan your employer provides, you can keep it from job to job as long as you pay the premium. Too many people expect employer provided insuarance as a 'right' instead of as a 'benefit' . Take care of yourself and stop expecting someone else to take care of you!

I think one way to let our politicians know that we are paying attention is to send them, Republican, Democrat. and Independant, a pocket copy of the U.S. Constitution. You might even want to use a highlighter on the parts that pertain to what is going on now. Maybe they will realize that we know what rules they SHOULD be following!
It can't hurt and I think I will do that myself.
I realize the role of the Senate is to 'advise and consent'. However, I feel the Senate should 'advise' Pres. Obama that he has made a poor choice and reject her.
I still don't understand why we (USA) keep sending financial and petroleum aid to N.K. They have never kept up thier end of the bargain. Why not just let thier protectors, China, take care of them? Our Constitution does not provide for the Federal Gov. to supply aid to any other country anyway.
Are you willing to give away half a dozen 'sacred cows' to gain one? And you don't even know if this is true or not~
Been there, done that on a smaller scale. Unions were good in there time. Now they mostly keep lazy worthless people getting a paycheck just for showing up.
