I think Jawi has only good intention for the tudung-clad Malay girls, but they need to chill out on this one.
Hugging and kissing is a show of affection in many cultures. The Inuits do it the kunik way, the Maoris do it the hongi way.

The Arabs do it the hugging and kissing way all the time - man to man at that.
OK, they don’t do it on stage, but hugging and kissing all the same.

Let the matter rest. The Cabinet has accepted Zahid’s explanation on the letter he wrote to the FBI.
Let the matter rest while the DPM is still unaware of Zahid’s letter.
Let the matter rest while the PM…, let the matter rest.

Single-stream school system is not an ingredient for unity in any society. Throughout history, nations have fought civil wars speaking in one common language. Germany, Korea and Vietnam are cases in point, and the Arabs of course have shown single-stream school system did not work for 1,400 years.

But unity in uniformity in Malaysia is not impossible if there is uniformity in purpose. The BN is an example of uniformity in purpose…

No big deal on Major Zaidi Ahmad’s dismissal. He is 45 and due to retire from the military anyway.
The implication of the Major’s "dishonourably" dismissal is he will lose his life-time pension.

It’s either Major Zaidi’s pension at stake, or the military court presiding officer Col Saadon Hasnan’s promotion at stake. You decide.

Gorasia, buy a unit of the new condo if you still want the view of lush greenery and morning mist of the hill.

This is what my friend did.

He bought a terrace house with a nice lake view. When the developer built a bungalow in front blocking the view, he bought the bungalow.

Last I hear he bought a unit of the new condo by the lake and goes fishing at the second floor. Nice!

The IGP may have a point, there’s a remote possibility seditious speech can radicalize Muslims. Not repealing the Sedition Act is the easy part.

The French experience also showed some Muslims are radicalized in mosques. This is the tricky part.
