18 year olds are not known to have the most reliable cars either. Could have easily broken down and was walking for help.

frozen door latches dont allways latch. she may have been leaning on the door when the car was driving or turning and next thing you know... I have had my truck door do this before. it appears to be closed then pops open. a lil wd40 useually solves the problem.

actually I think this is to replace a sign that was knocked down by a semi a while back. it is right on the Northbound curve. story could have been much clearer.
