It's the media responsible for these townhalls.
After all, my congressman has had ONE tough question from the media during his 20 year career!

I don't care what party they are, we need to inform ourselves about the candidates. do not trust the media, ask our own questions and educate ourselves about the candidates.
we need to make sure that true conservatives, whether democrats or republicans, win the primaries.
Romney and McCain should have never been the front runners.
we need these big tent progressives defeated in the primaries.

I'm excited to see that Gov Perry believes in us, in me(10thAmmendment, lol)
He told Michael Savage that there were others that likely shared his views and would possibly speak publicly about them.
He listed Govs Jindal, Barbour, Palin, Pawlenty, and even Bresden, as Govs who want the states to take a bigger role in governing themselves.
We have a great nation, but the constitution isn't a suicide pact.

WE have to go and participate, protest. Ask them the tough questions, we have to demand they they represent us, else we find candidates to replace them. I know a lot of people in CT are looking at candidates for their next Attorney General.

The answer: NOBAMA t-shirts, signs questioning his birthplace, banners proclaiming Obama the Antichrist.
Our liberal news media wants to pigeonhole Tea partiers as crazies. They want to marginalize us.
If 20,000 people show up, the drive-by media will be looking for the 20 conspiracy theorists to get close ups and interviews from.
Tea Parties shouldn't be anti-Obama, because he isn't the problem. Sure he's part of the problem, just like John McCain and Michael Steele.

Besides, many good jobs come from "bored rich people", when you look at the things that are still actually produced in America, you'll see that many "foreign" autos are made here(including Mercedes and BMW), most boats and yachts are made here, most RVs and ATVs are made here.
Americans can't stop buying "luxury" items. Take a look around your local discount store and see where those products are made.
