There is no scientific basis for carbon dioxide to cause climate change. There are several explanations but none are based on any known science. Some experiments said to prove this are nothing more than magic tricks. One with a glass tube, candle and thermal camera uses a camera specifically tuned to detect CO2. The Al Gore explanation using carbon dioxide and temperatures from ice core data is equally nonsense. He claimed a correlation with carbon dioxide causing the temperature changes. It is impossible to see the correlation with such complex graphs and a mathematical correlation analysis is needed. This shows the opposite to be the truth that temperature is leading the carbon dioxide changes. The reason is that sea water absorbs and releases CO2, as the temperature increases, CO2 is released.
