I was born in Chalfont St. Peter Bucks, where AVM Don Bennett started Fairthorpe. I do remember the Atom ,Zeta and one other, the name of which escapes me.Those were mostly based on Triumph Heralds and then perhaps the later Vitesse, But I had moved away to the big city before the TX-GTs came along. A neighbour Mine worked there and gave me a lift in an Atom a couple of times and it was quite a novel experience.

I first saw this car at the National Guard Armory on Ballough Road in Daytona Beach, FL in 1961 at a custom car show. It was, and is, one of the most beautiful cars I have ever seen. Glad to see it restored to its former glory.

The second car remains in untouched, original condition and was once purchased without windows by John Mastroianni Sr. of Auto Turismo & Sport Ltd. in New York. Currently, both cars are believed to be in private collections in Italy, so they are not on regular public display. However, you might have a chance to see one during special events like the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este or Auto e Moto d’Epoca in Padua. Museums such as the Museo dell'Automobile di Torino may also occasionally host exhibitions featuring rare Italian sports cars. Hopefully, you’ll be able to see a Nembo GT in person one day! 😊
