John - How to use a mind map to conduct a "failure pre-mortem"

Years ago we used a method created by MG Taylor to visualize an ideal end state. Once that was created, we'd hold a "wake" as to why we failed to create that end state. We'd pick a few folks from the team to put on a "play" They were to imagine the project to bring this end state to being had failed. They were to imagine they were at a bar having a final chit chat as the team was being brioken up and sent to other places. They were to comencerate over an imagined beer why things failed. Once the folks got into their roles the conversation absolutely flowed to the poihnt that we had to assign a bar keeper to anniounce the bar was being closed. Although we used manual mind maps other places in the MG Taylor process, it never occured to us to capture this dialog via a mind map, By the way MG Tatylor had another saying. "you can't get from here to there, you have to bring there here!"

Nick Duffill - 10 questions to assess the quality of your mind maps

Personally, I think this approach reinforces the notion that a mind map is a "thing" that can be right, wrong, or incomplete. For me, a mind map is a snapshot of a continuous process, and it is this process that creates value. Even if the eventual goal is to create something for another audience, the initial mapping and thinking process is shared with personal maps. There are only two questions: - Am I 100% clear on what I want to *do* with this map? E.g. make a decision, solve a problem, understand something or explain something - Can I start doing it yet? If yes, then stop polishing and start doing :)

It really helped me solve the problems I encountered in the initial stage of mind mapping, and I no longer have to worry about not being able to come up with topics. Of course, what it generates is not perfect, but it can become very good with a little modification. I'm really looking forward to it becoming more intelligent in the future!

JARM - Kanban plugin adds simple visual project management to Obsidian

There is a way to activate colors on tags in a Kanban board, at least it works for me!. There are two ways to setting the plugin parameters; the first is the default Kanban board settings, which is located in the icon that appears on the main screen, at the bottom left, it's the gear icon, here, assigning colors to labels doesn't work. For the second way, it's necessary to create a kanban board, when doing this, another icon gear, appears at the top right of the Kanban window that's created. Click in this icon and open the specific Kanban board settings that was create and It's here that you can give colors at text, at backgroud and at name to a tag. Sorry for my English, it isn't my mother tonge.
