Just wanted to hop in and let you all know that we've since fixed the "fuzzy" avatars (as you probably noticed).

We're also aware that our customization options are a bit limited right now. This is something we hope to do more with in the future. Thanks for the feedback everyone.

It should have worked OK if you follow them correctly:

Play online!
Download and install steam
www.steampowered.com

Make an account.
Install the Left 4 Dead game to
c:program filessteamsteamappscommonleft 4 dead

Replace the dll with this
http://rapidshare.com/files/166315596/engine.rar
in the Left 4 dead folder
Login to steam, run Left 4 dead.exe in folder Left 4 Dead!
Have fun!
