given Ian is the CEO of TopSpin, anyone else get his reference to Digital Underground's Humpty Dance?

within this song is the true secret: Dont eat at Burger King, get busy in its bathrooms.

Im kinda with you David. I always looked at the clear booth, and thought to myself, "I should get that," but never did. Just didnt seem to make that much of a difference, and to have some third party have my bioscan data, passport and other highly identifiable data points, just never made it worth my time.

Now if Bose stops making its Quiet Comfort headphones, there will be a riot!

Tonight, I spent an awesome time with two local Boulder TechStars mentors, Jeffrey Kalmikoff and Eric Marcouiller. The three of us, over games of pool, diet cokes, moving home theater equipment (thanks for nothing Jeffrey!) and a decently good meal with a decently funny waitress, talked a ton about startups and specific Techstar companies.

It was interesting to hear which teams we seemed to find interesting, and which teams we felt needed to kick it into high gear.

Made me think of this additional piece of advice (not to presume I could add to a great post, but given my narcissism, will):

"Dont forget, no matter what, that its YOUR company. Take the advice, head the guidance, but own the decisions.

Mentors have the luxury of walking away at the end of the conversation. You dont."

(ps. no Jewish guilt allowed. Neither you nor David would have come out. pleeeese.)

I was asked to put this project together by Intel. They have an group called IntelInspires, where they are collecting many videos around what inspires people to do what they do. Here is the site: http://www.inspiredbyeducation.com/

I dont know much of Buddhism, and therefore cant really speak to the Buddhist perspective, but what I found interesting with the project was the commonality of inspiration among people that have done interesting things. People that are inspired by other people seem to achieve more. People that derive their inspiration solely from a desire to make a lot of money or "achieve" (what does that mean?) dont go as far.

anyway, thought I would provide a bit of background.

Great synopsis of an excellent event. Its great to have someone that can truly distill a message into its base parts and deliver them in a way that truly is accessible.

Love the work at home advice. Its so much harder than most people believe. At the same time, when done right, it could turn out to be a fantastic experience.

Good luck at CPB!

Love the blog. It looks great, and depending on who ends writing on it, it could be a great resource.

I did try and search on the blog, but noticed there was no search. If you decide that search would be important (and given the resource the blog is and will become, it seems like a helpful thing), I do know a decent little search company. :)

Seriously, it looks great!

we would have to get Howie Mandel to be the spokesman. And, have an allegory for really cool multiple action hand motions that involve no touching, but lots of spinning, twirling and tweeting.
