I just heard about Whitney this morning I am also saddened by this loss.

As for Twitter, I do not do a whole lot with it anymore. I will pop in to rave about a book or mini chat with a friend or two but have not stuck around for the drama topics.

I like hearing the "dark side" too Mari. I only had the one bad wipe out last year that put me in the emergency room.... maybe next week I will link that post in my recap....

I had a fairly decent week but I too want to get to the 1200 calorie a day goal... this week will be tough for that with several out to eat plans but I am making my mind up that days like today when I have no food commitments - 1200 is the golden rule!

I love talking books, always have so a review, is just me talking books. :) I write like i talk so with my reviews you get the gushy SQQUUEEESSS if called for, and the "doh's!" when I should have figured some plot line out and did not....

I want to know how a book makes a person feel and that is what I put into my reviews... I want people to know what they are about to experience and if my review gets someone to read and love a book that I have loved as well... that is the ultimate reward.

I am excited about that new Jacqueline Woodson! I hope you enjoy it! And I am going through the same thing you are here with books... I have about 5 on the table now that I have started and put down... I cant find the one that hooks me, although I did start 'We've Got A Job The 1963 Birmingham Childrens March' last night and am finding that interesting.
