The conservative views supported by young people is called liberatarianism. But the conservatives have shown a reluctance to embrace this wing of the Republican party. But that is where the young conservatives and the tea party are at, in my opinion.

Well this should not be a surprise. The environmentalist movement is not really about saving the environment, it is about electing Democrats. So the oil spill is being bungled by one of their own and destroying the environment down there, not a big problem. Now if it were a conservative, then the environment matters.

The impression I get from Obama and the liberals is that they do not love their country. Of course they occasionally say it, but usually without passion, and infrequently. Then stuff like this seems to happen frequently which reinforces this subtle perception.

More bigotry by the liberals. The mainstream media only finds bigotry newsworthy if it comes from conservatives or tea partiers. Liberals? Not even worth a headline. See Politico where there is not ONE headline. Yet when the bogus tea party claims occured they ran multiple headlines for a week. Election time is coming, and as before, the press is moving into support mode for the Democrats, and that means an overt, grotesque bias in their reporting.
