you're right it is freedom of speech, but had he been writing for himself, and not representing a company like gawker he could have been slandered personally, but of course no company will tolorate that regardless if it's freedom of speech. At some point, there is still a line that can be crossed when expressing yourself.

I just saw this on Tumblr....OMG I can't wait to try this! I love my pasta. I can't wait to try this for my family! I love cooking with cream sauces, but my family is into processed canned versions and that makes me so sick. I'm going to lighten it up for my family though with whole wheat pasta, and probably do half and half with the cream! So glad i found your blog!

Steph, can i suggest, making sure you are doing this for the right reasons. There is a book out called Blogging your way to the front row, by Yuli she was a panelist on there as well at the conference it answers a ton of questions about what you want to know. I haven't finished reading it, but the point is if you are orginal, and you show people that you are blogging not just for " followers' and people believe that it's what you like to do then they will come along. It doesn't sugar coat anything either. There are a few that go out and make as full time bloggers. I wish the best of luck to you though.

Sorry anyway I love my biscuits with Strawberry Jam! the Sweetness of that with the butter in the biscuit is divine and my favorite comfort food with breakfast.
