No one needs to stand up for Michael Yon. He should stand up for himself. And he did, when he publicly and prominently rebuked McChrystal, the General in charge of the war in Afghanistan.

Yon knew this would be the result of his statements. Fine. Now let's all accept that Yon caused this inevitability himself.
