Some of us are bench builders. We're incredibly lucky that God made us to love building those darn benches.

This doesn't surprise me much. There's a LOT of suspicion out there towards the emerging church, 'post-evangelical' belief and similar renewal approaches to Christian life and mission. I'm not sure how this can be challenged from our end of things.
