I understand the change and how hard it is. I'm always optimistic, but there's several things that have been going on for years in my life that have eroded that on several levels. I complain more, i bitch more about stuff, quick to complain. I've been trying to make improvements to reduce it, like not letting the bad shit I have to deal with at work get me stressed. I roll with the changes more and not let them affect me personally. It's not easy... it's fucking hard at times since I want to rant, but at the same time, it's taken away from the things that I want to do in my life.

Love this podcast. The first with both you and rani in the same room. And despite the bad news of the car and the phone, it sounds like all of your other Vegas adventures were fun.

I never get flu shots. I think the last time i got one was well over 20 years ago. I don't remember if it helped or not. I do more with antioxidants like coffee, tea and these little pills called grapefruit seed extract. Between all of these, I rarely get sick anymore, with maybe just a week of cold symtoms.

My last trip to D-land was in Oct of last year and while it had some drama that I could have done without, it was pretty fun. I want to go back again soon now that Star Tours is open again with the new changes.

Distractions are a large part of why I don't do much in the way of my growing list of personal projects these days... especially so in the last 20 months. I blame my day job, but in the end, I have control over how I spend my time. YouTube, web news pages, music, sunshine, drinking... lots of fun stuff, but I want to do more.

Since I follow you on twitter, I see your visits to D-Land and the Weezer shows you've been to this summer. Hope your return to work/school this week won't bring too much crapola.

A nice break from school is good. Too much of anything not fun can be tiring.

I've not read Stardust before. The Sandman series by Gaiman is really good (and it's on a banned books list, too)

I'm always in a good mood when the weather is warmer. Of course for me here in Utah, that means when it goes from 20 to 40 degrees, that works for me. Much prefer temps in the 70's though.
