I like finding new people to the city. I’ve been in NY almost 4 months and I agree with some stuff. Shower curtain is so dead on. But I disagree about the getting gussied up. I’m from LA (never been to Atlanta) But people in NY are fancier than LA. Unless you are going to a movie premier, LA is so much more laid back in style than NY. People in LA don’t wear fur anything. Not like NY.

It is nice to see the perspective of NY from a new NYer like myself.

After the rude commenter said I probably had every STD out there I did write a follow up post to my QLC post. Haven’t published it yet. I even emailed the rude commenter to explain what actual issues of the QLC I was referring to in my blog.

If my post was offensive to you I am sorry. I wish I was much more specific to what I was trying to say before I hit the publish button.

After someone wrote a rude comment on my post about this (not you, your comment wasn’t bitchy or rude) I realized I didn’t specify what I was really referring to with the QLC. I was talking more of the QLC about people not knowing the direction they were going in their life. I didn’t mean it as anyone that has gone through something serious like death, depression or cancer. I don’t take those issues lightly but I guess I see them more as life issues, issues that can happen to anyone no matter their age.

Also my 20’s were fun but they were not always roses and kittens. I just choose not to share some of the things that I’ve gone through in my life. I commend people that do but that’s not me. As you said “The QLC can hit you whether you’re 25, 32, or 19. It knows no age, just that your life isn't going according to plan.” That was somewhat my point as well. A crisis isn’t age specific. There is no right time to ever have to deal with life handing you a giant load of crap.

Looks like you all had a blast. Its funny how when I started blogging I never thought I would ever meet other bloggers, well maybe local ones but never travel to meet any. Yet I’ve traveled to Vegas and now DC in October. The internet is a beautiful thing.

I'm so happy for you and excited to see where this new life journey will take you. And the person you become will be just as fabulous as the person you already are.

Wow! 22 pounds of goodies? Awesome. I would be playing beauty shop for days like I did when I was a little girl, but this time with real products. Mandy, I'm so jealous! Enjoy all the goodies.

I love that you were actually writing a letter, no one ever does that anymore and I think it needs to make a comeback. Now the only thing you ever get in the mail are bills, yuck! But what a lovely weekend you had.

Sometimes I wish I was a more put together person and knew what I wanted to do with my life. Then sometimes I think, "eh, you're not doing so bad at this life thing"

So I take it you wouldn't want to become a fan of my coffee table then? Ok fine.
