thanks for the response.. I agree with some of your points but I think you are thinking about this to hard. what is a DJ anyway? A disk jockey in the literal translation.. but in more simple terms I think it's a person who selects and plays music whether its on vinyl, cds, loops, or samplers... and rocks the party... and makes people dance... pure and simple. so whatever yo want to call it DJ / producer / performer / party rocker... he is mos def all of the above.
