The iPad is pretty much an oversized iPod touch. While it may not be "useless" to some, it's fairly "useless" to those of us who already have a laptop and a phone, an iPod or a phone, a laptop and an iPod, or any combination of the sort. It has the techy coolness factor, but in terms of day-to-day functionality, and with the price tag that goes with it, I still maintain that it's pretty useless.
