I wrote a long comment this morning, and it isn't here. Now that my brain is fried from the day, let's see if I can reconstruct it.

I think life is a process of evolving. As you grow, things that used to make you happy don't always do it for you any longer. Having my blog be unstructured has helped me be more creative and meet people from a broad range of backgrounds that connect with me over a tangential similarity or preference.

I also think you spend a lot of time giving good advice on your blog. I used to do that on my business blog, but I found that people did not want to pay for things they could find for free. That isn't always the same for everything, but that was my experience.

Whatever it is, I know you will find a way to turn it into a stepping stone.

My camera is an old Pentax Optio. It fits in the palm of my hand and easily slides in my pocket. Most of the pics on my blog were taken with it, so it is really decent for such a small camera.

Brian, I love your grandfather, and I've never met him. He sounds delightful. Thank you for sharing this story. I never knew either of my grandfathers. One died years before I came along, and the other passed away shortly after I was born. You're lucky to have him, but I can tell you know that already. :)

Just about any fresh vegetable is exquisite when seared in bacon grease on the stove top. Of course, this negates the impact of eating fresh veg.
