Nice Florian. Great way of putting pressure on yourself to continue writing as well. I might copy that idea :).
As for the feedback: I really liked the first part of the story. But you could cut back on the curse words a little, for me they don't add too much. And you might mix in a bit more scenic description. For example when he goes to the couch at the end, you could describe a bit the part of the city that is outside the window.
Just my 2 cts. In any case, keep writing.

Nice piece. Using a project dictionary (with spelling examples) is a great one. But why send it around and not share it on a teamsite or internal wiki? Then you can be sure to always have the updated version.
Then there is the choice between "American English" and "English English". Especially for those not from either country, always difficult. Be sure to a) take the decision which way to go (for which the preference of the client could be a great guidance); and b) use a dictionary to be sure. And don't let the decision be taken by Americans or Brits, unless you are working for an American or British client.

In the end, it's all a matter of numbers. Taking the stairs burns more calories than taking the elevator. And if you burn more than you take in (eat, drink...), you lose weight. And taking the stairs may either be just that little extra burning, or simply not enough.
It helped me a bit.
