And some other 'war stats' show that more deaths happen on the battlefield during the first and last month of a deployment. What's that say? That we must be ready for those 'big' battles by getting in the Word right away! And then, not grow confident, lazy or weary in our own strength as we press on..."So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don't fall." I Cor. 10:12

Recently I saw this true as a friend (Todd) of a friend (Josh) died of cancer. In the two years Todd battled with an impossible cancer, he displayed unshakeable faith in his loving Lord. Josh, who walked with him though this valley, was not so sure. Yet, as Josh observed the light of the Lord shine through Todd, his faith was restored. Not only that, over 16,000 people learned of Todd through Josh on Facebook. And now, Josh and his cousin, George Alden, have written a song called "I Believe Again" (to help Todd's family)....all because, in God's economy, the impossible proved to be a gift. And the Lord was, and is, glorified.
Tough truth. But true nonetheless. Thank you again, Jon.

Even with 20+ military moves, 34 years of marriage by God's grace, and as many years with the Lord, my husband and I still want that Button!! We want a roadmap, but He gave us a compass instead--His Word!!
Thank you for this awesome reminder!
PS. We don't have a box-spring. :-)
