I have to agree that suppressing "embarrassing details of a story is just wrong. As to teh one who complained that it is a slow news day on Islamic supremacists I challenge Robert to post and discuss our own version of the Taliban; the Radical Right Christian movements. My enemy's enemy is NOT automatically my friend! Groups that pose as supporting freedom of religion but work to make THEIR religion (Fundamentalist Christianity) dominant, groups that demand the right to send religious literature home in kid's backpacks from school, but scream bloody murder when an agnostic group tries to do the same. These are the ones who forget what Jesus TAUGHT in their zeal to establish a theocratic America that conforms to THEIR fantasy of the Ideal God-Fearing World. The Christian version do not tend to blow up things (Though they are not totally clean in this.) or behead but they want to own our souls as blatantly as any radical Imam. Why not post some stories on THOSE threats to our freedoms on a slow Islamic Fundie day?

Moral: if, in your exploration of cyberspace, you come across stories of this kind (i.e. the original version that mentioned the Koran): copy *at once*, making particular note of the precise date and time and all other relevant details, save to disk, and keep in a safe place. Screenshots are handy if you can do them. Then, if the story is subsequently pulled, or altered: you will know, for you will have the original. A similar procedure is advised for any reporter doing an interview with a Muslim 'spokesman' - always, always carry a teeny little audio recorder and record the interview so that if he says anything that gives the game away (misogyny, antisemitism, jihadist sentiments) but later pretends that he has not, and accuses you of misrepresenting him, you can expose him as a liar. As for remarks about the 'Daily Mail': there is nothing to prevent a sensationalist gutter rag from printing perfectly truthful stories about the internal jihad (Muslims killing Muslims; recalcitrant or feared-to-be-rebellious Muslimahs being disposed of by Murderous Muslim Males) and external jihad (Muslims harming or trying to harm non-Muslims - e.g., Muslim taxi drivers raping Infidel women, Muslim spraying excrement on kafir books and wine bottles in shops, etc), since these stories *belong* in the sensational gutter press. It is worrying therefore that the Mail appears to have imitated its putative 'betters' in this particular case, by giving way to second thoughts and removing the reference to the Koran.

Wow. I mean, just freaking wow. If this had been some radical white supremacist skinhead who had forced his wife to read Mein Kampf while he had strangled her you can bet your sweet a** that it would be put in the newspaper with bells on. Hiding the truth, so as not to “offend” a minority that is showing it’s propensity for brutal violence and suppression of the rights of others (women) is not a solution. Confronting the problem is. We have the same problem with racial minorities in America. I know me even SAYING that can get me labeled a racist, but I do not commit these crimes, nor am I happy they occur. But, as in Britain, even pointing out that certain cultural traits are being ignored out of “decency” or “respect” or “politeness” is bass ackwards. To solve a problem you must first acknowledge it exists, then address why it happens, and rigorously enforce the law to deter it. Or is that naïve?

The BBC story still mentions the Koran bit, so it doesn't appear that external pressure was applied to the Daily Mail. And they are not the sort of newspaper to self-censor; at least not in such a blatant way. If the BBC story stealth-edits overnight, I might become a bit more concerned.

Leaving vulgarity to one side there have been some ominous developments over the past week indicating that any residual inhibitions over dealing with evil are being brushed aside as of no consequence. 1) Ibrahim Moussawi (propagandist for Hezbollah) will be allowed access to the UK to give a speech to an audience including government officials. 2) The Charity Commission apart from a mild slap on the wrist has given the extremist charity Interpal a clean bill of health. 3) Watch this space or bury your head in the sand.

Greetings from Britistan, Don't you know that all of the MSM, the BBC, Academia and all the government are infiltrated by common purpose. They are not allowed to print the truth or speak it. If by accident something gets out it is retracted at the earliest opportunity. We wouldn't want the indigenous British people getting to know the truth about what is happening to their country, or upset the special minorities who may riot if they are offended. I read the BNP website to find the truth and converse to other enlightened people in this country. But by the very fact that Leftist elites (and some D'Souza conservatives here and there) are refusing to acknowledge the elephant in the room, by this very stupid obstinacy they insure that more and more ordinary folks will come to know that there is something deeply wrong, profoundly wrong, with all of Islam. I mean, after all, why the silence about the Koran, etc. if Islam is OK? Could be argued here that silence is indeed golden.
