Whole Foods is a huge, multi-million dollar corporation. They may do some good things, but don't buy all their slick, self-promoting talk! I love how the big Whole Foods slogan now is 'Buy Local' (all over their bags, etc.) and they're such hypocrites - very little of what they sell is locally grown, and almost none of their produce is local or organic.

When I learned of an entire ladybug species disappearing, I knew GMOs were a factor in their demise.
I'm fascinated by bees now, and I think GMOs are playing a big part in their dying off as well. This is linked to many of the rapid changes we're seeing on the planet.

This article was a nice reminder for me to keep things as simple as I can, do my part, (though it may feel small) continue to work toward carrying peace within myself most of the time, and to remember to feed my family well!
