As an objector (and a Catholic), I want to be able to opt-out of Obamacare (for religious and principled reasons) entirely.

That's a Subaru. Are they sure it was stolen or donated for the purpose?

Ha! The punchline to your joke was that 'Europe was united'.

Europe isn't united and any binding agreements they had are turning out to all be nooses around their necks.

From the sounds of it, it's regurgitated from 2010 and 2011.

Our next war should be used to deplete our nuclear arsenal. Solves the problem of maintaining and disposing of them.

But he wouldn't do that because he defends it. He said that he supported it. He said that Massachusetts has the right to impose mandates that the federal government cannot. So, Romney believes that tyranny can be imposed on a state-by-state basis, but not at the federal level?

That doesn't make a lick of sense.

I'm curious to know who Romney listened to in signing Romneycare into law in Massachusetts. Were any of them lobbyists? I'm sure there were some pharmaceutical companies, insurance companies, advocates and other lobbyists that had benefited from Romneycare which he signed into Massachusetts law.

I can see why Newt is getting irritated by Romney's scurrilous attacks upon him. Romney isn't running on his ideas, he's running on the backing of the establishment and he saw in SC where that gets him. He's been told by his campaign handlers that he needed to take some shots at Gingrich because he's the new frontrunner.

Although it's unlikely that Newt would ever get my vote, that he's curtailed the anointment by the GOP establishment of Romney makes me smile.

In my honest assessment, Romney is another Bob Dole. Dole lost to Bush the Elder for the GOP nod in 1992 then lost to Clinton after being anointed by the GOP establishment in the following presidential election in 1996.

Romney lost to McCain and the GOP establishment wants another poor candidate to mail it in this time around, just like they did in 1996.

There is a surprising backlash against the establishment within the GOP and it's interesting to watch.
