the value depends of different rules. First of all the owner of the page can set its page to no-follow. In that case no links (comment links) will be seen by Google. However this is what the experts say, I've done some tests and sometimes even when your links are no follow, they do get recognised by Google. Secondly no matter what link, whether it's a link or a comment link will get the same value. So what you want is to find pages with high PR levels.

but remember the best way to build backlinks is by writing articles and submitting them to the well known article directories such as ezine articles etc.

Sorry but this commenting plugin is the best way to get rid of spammers. It's not the most user friendly, but it helps me from avoiding spammers.

because the quality of your backlinks decreases. For example if you have a PR5 page, and a lot of spammers start to spam your page with pr0 websites, your page will lose power.

I always provide both a review and a bonus page. Look closer ;-)
