You need to stop looking at other people as the problem and looking at yourself for the answer.
1 person in 10 are on food stamps. This to me does not refelect the sad state of our economey it refelct sthe sad state of our society. 1 in 10 people, come on if 9 people couldn't feed the one something is wrong with us as human beings. I have ran food pantries large and small. There is a need but I also know that it would be reletivly easy to stop this problem if everyone stopped depending on the government to fix it and started trying to fix it themselves. If you know a neighbor is struggling help them out, buy them some groceries, Mny churches have programs that a person can buy food for $15 to $20 a bag and it is a substantial amount of food. And trust me just because someone needs food or is on food stamps it does not alwyas mean they are takeing advantage. Because our society has allowed the GOVERNEMENT to take of the care of those who are less fortunate (because we have refused to do it ourselves) this has happened. Why not go to the welfare office and pcik a family and say hey come with me I wanna go buy you some grocieries and help you get back on yoru feet. That would be the AMERICAN thing to do.
If we do nothing because we fear what they MIGHT do then we have already handed over our freedom. I am not that far gone yet. if i can not fight and bleed for my country and my freedom then I do not deserve it.
Its better than doing nothing? If we fear the thugs in brown shirtsand allow that to stop us then we have already handed over everything. Im not that far gone yet.

I say we all start stageing ACORN style protests outside the personal homes of our Congress members and Senators. I say we do it when there haveing some fancy dinner . Truely shameing them into doing what is right. It seems to be all they understand.
Obviously you have not recieved care through the medicare or medicaid plan. i would love to intordice you to some peopel who lost loved ones due to this excellent government sponsored care.
How many people are ready to support organization finacially? I agree we need to link ourselves togeather? What would be a date suggested for a march on Washington. I am willing to start the ball rolling in this direction but these are questions that need to be put to the all of us who are of the same mind. So lets here some suggestions and take teh first step. Anyone willing to sponser the costs of the march? Anyone willing to devote time and expertiese in a web site to organize the march?........I sugest Sept. 6th teh day before Labor Day. So i submit these things to all of you!!!!
I say lets make a huge statement and March on Washington. However don't just march. We need to go there and ensure that we can go as groups and meet with out Senators and Represenatives. Demand a meeting or show up at their office until they either have to shut the offices down or meet with us. Lets march on Sept. 12 2009 and meet with our elected officials on the 11th.
