This would never have made a "dimple" in the blogs nor national news had they come to my house and shot me 21 times, especially if I had it coming...You trace this controversy back to the source and no one complaining actually gives a shat about this guy....Their "contempt" is for personal gain....

I am not as well versed as some of you commenting, but the intelligence level of the posters/commenter's makes me continue to read this blog...NEVER a dull or unintelligent moment...I have lurked for sometime, just soaking up ya'lls knowledge...I only felt compelled to speak because I had first hand experience with this subject...thanks for letting me join in....

How many agents actually fired?...I am a former Police Officer...You shoot, accurately, until the threat is neutralized...I would "guess" all agents presented with the threat engaged-consistent with training...that's potentially only a few shots per agent....It is highly unlikely one agent engaged 21 times...

Very good point....My hope would be that we would leave, eventually....My thoughts were that if we are going to be there anyway, some good may come of it, for all involved....But, you are right....They would find away to make this poilitical....

That was well written and w/out political bias I believe....I live in sth MS and we had the same problem after Katrina...few local jobs...This statement might spark some controversy, but we should turn it into Puerto Rico...Instill Law & Order, rebuild it, educate and employ the CITIZENS, draw tax from major corp's who set up to rebuild...the can train and employ the locals....ANYONE physically fit can help with rebuilding....let the outside companies hire locals for labor...offset some of the cost, then EASE out....sorta...we are going to be there anyway....
