FYI: Black persons make up 12.6% of the population of the United States, not 18%.

Hey, I'll be honest that I was right in there slamming the Clintons every chance I got too. They had their huge share too. (They totally deserved it.) But for people to act like the Obamas are ABOVE it all is just stupid.

Putting the obvious error aside, how stupid is this woman? Didn't she see the lack of privacy the Bushes, the Reagans and the Clintons had, with numerous books published every year? What the heck. Is no one supposed to write anything about them until he's out of office?

See, the problem is that Ms. McCain is seeking approval from the left wing and the media. She reminds me of Andrew Sullivan, David Brock...these were people never to be trusted. Just something really slithy about them. She'll turn before long. Just watch.

Yeah, but I don't think this timeline is right. The whole military thing was more open to the public and out in the open while later in the White House the other festivities took place...the "blood" vial drinks, bone shaped cookies and extravagances.

The military party was a cover for the later party.

It could happen here...yeah, that's why they were so nice to Sarah Palin. She wasn't a threat to their ideology or anything.

Not strange at all. People are desperate for entertainment and willing to throw a buck at a terrible movie like that. Ugh. It's so bad. The other Green Lantern movie isn't as bad. It's weird though, how you have different expectations for different movie genres. The problem with Green Hornet is it thinks it's funny and campy but it's neither. It's just bad.

The other problem is YouTube. We have ourselves to look at now. I know younger people who spend hours on YouTube.

Your analysis is written from an aficionado perspective. You want quality, as do most of the people who stay away from the theater.

Kids DO go to those slasher flicks because they've grown up on them and don't take the violence seriously. Theaters are also in competition with television, which has grown increasingly disgusting.

The reality is that Hollywood is feeding on itself; they have no fresh ideas because they are completely driven by the dollar and their ideologies. They need fresh minds in there to inject some realistic evaluations during the script writing and the filming.

I've complained before about movies like Gothica, which started out as intriguing but quickly devolved into an unscary joke with many unresolved threads. Where were the investors to say, "Stop! Are you kidding me?"

Instead they continue to produce bunk, leaving the story line to the gaffers.

Methinks they need an English teacher in there to analyze plot, theme and credibility of character.

And a teenager or two to rip em a new one occasionally.
