What's left of the "Republican" party has fallen in line behind the Democrats. I agree that they have no guts to challenge anything the Dem's throw at them, let alone challenging "The Messiah", himself. There has been speculation that S. Pailn has resigned to focus on 2012. I hope so...and I hope they can pair her up with someone better than John "Yosemite Sam" McCain. I thought he was decent enough of a candidate, but it turns out to be anything but. I cannot believe how the RINOS turned their back on her when she was under attack. If we never hear from her again, I couldn't say I blame her, but we need someone like her who is willing to stand up against the morons currently occupying this government.

The Republican Party is splitting from it's conservative origins. It has become an auxiliary outlet for the Democratic party and its ideals. You can no longer equate Republican with Conservative. Look at ex-Republican Arlen Specter - same guy, same ideals, new party. Every registered Republican needs to A) re-register as a Democrat. Then close your eyes and vote for every tree hugging, peace-nik Democrat on the ticket in the primary. B) support anyone running against the incumbent Republican. This will clear the room of the RINO's and then we can start to realign the Conservative base. This is not going to happen overnight, and it will be painful. Sort of like the current environment we are currently in.

Man, woman, black or white. It shouldn't matter. What does matter is the ideals behind the person, and what they have accomplished during their tenure in political office. Unlike the Communist-in-Chief, Sarah Palin has a whole laundry list of accomplishments, from balanced budgets to fiscal responsibility. The Birth Certificate issue is tied up in court. Like Brooklyn Dave said, its a touchy subject, and no one is stepping forward to push the issue. All of the attempts to have the case presented, have been turned down, with the reason being "no standing before the court". I would think if you're a citizen, you would have standing. But unfortunately, it's much more complex than that.. And, to put it to rest, all he would have to do is provide one with a raised seal.

The police were not on their way to disarm him. They were on their way to a domestic dispute. The mother was asked if there were guns in the house and her response was "Yes, but they're legal". I don't know what difference that even makes, especially in the midst of a domestic dispute that can go south real quick. He knew his mother called the police, and he was waiting. Waiting to ambush the officers. They arrived with their weapons holstered, and entered the house. They need to throw this guy right in the incinerator. This was/is not about the second amendment. This "shooter" is a dirtbag, and SWAT should've resolved this threat. These are the examples that the left hold up and say "See, this is why we need to ban guns". We need to report how many million responsible gun owners are NOT killing people. How does someone with a dishonerable dishcarge continue to own/buy guns?
