I think some people here are pushing to much drama into their role.
All that unreasonable picking does no one any good. Maybe they to much time to spear now without their Bkite ;-)

Needless to say many bkiters are upset. Reasons have been stated through all comments, so I won't repeat any of them ;)

I just wanted to mention again that everyone has to keep in mind that Bkite is a young startup company with it's product still in beta stadium. That means it may come to glitches, period. Fixing those may take so time, because they don't have many resources. The service they provide is still free!

A short note on the statement 'let's go to loopt': I think everyone who mentioned going to loopt was an option didn't even get the purpose of BK. Because BK is a community and a community itself stands for its users and not for the service. Then subtract the users from the service and you got nothing. You can do check-ins elsewhere of course, but no one will listen or even respond as close as ppl are acting on BK.

So all in all I hope everyone cools down and stays put to the action coming up on good old (or even better) Brightkite ;-)
