Should SBSettings and OpenSSH/SSL be installed and turned on prior to trying to install AppSync for OS 3.0? When it comes to reloading the SpringBoard it will sit at the screen "thinking" with the little graphic in the background for forever.

I've installed all the things mentioned in this post and installed a free, legitimate app from the app store. Is there something I'm missing to get the cracked apps to sync with iTunes 8.2 and running OS 3.0?
