Liberals make fun (make fun, mind you) of young Trig Palin. They openly mock a one-year-old with Down Syndrome. They laughed and made jokes about Tony Snow and his cancer in his final days of life. There is nothing sacred to them. Nothing is off limits and they are bound by no conscious which tells them where not to tread. They will say anything. There is no limit to how low they will stoop and the more cruel and vicious their remarks, the more accolades from their peers They are children. Cruel, spoiled, bratty and very nasty children.

Conservatives object to people screwing their brains out before they are married. Premarital sex is emotionally devastating to women. Women who lose their virginity before marriage have greatly increased rates of depression, poor self esteem and hopelessness. The truth is that when a woman sleeps around she is taking a dagger to her psyche. But feminists don't care about that. They want women to stack up sexual conquests like cordwood. And Planned Parenthood can go join its founder Margaret Sanger in hell. Listen to her own words.

Since when is an employer obligated to provide health insurance for employees? I thought that was supposed to be a benefit that some employers offered and others didn't. It is a voluntary thing to attract the best candidates. What is next? Telling employers how much vacation they must offer? Or how much gas reimbursement they must pay?

Is that how you think this works? The Catholic Church is like a religious social club that makes up laws based on how good they want to seem to others? Catholics are fallible people who teach what an infallible God has spoken. Sexual purity was not invented by the Catholic Church. God commands people not to fornicate (or murder, steal, etc). The Church merely passes this information along. They don't speak from their own "moral authority". They must faithfully repeat what God has commanded them even if they themselves just failed to live up to it.

I can tell something else to the people living in Africa: stop screwing everything in arm's reach! The average African (relevant nations) is sexually active by age ten and has more than a dozen different partners per year. The spread of HIV in Africa can be virtually stopped today if people changed their behavior. But, just like in America, assuming people can control their desire to fornicate is "unrealistic". It used to be realistic because people were shamed into controlling themselves.

I think I agree with Trey Parker on this one. In an important sense, he gave those movies to the public. He has legal rights to them, of course. He gets the money from them. But they are part of the popular culture now and he needs to respect that. He should have the gratitute to accept that so many people were thrilled by these films and then have the humility to step away from them and let us enjoy them. It's not just that he is a terrible person - that's very true (and a total cheapskate). He is also a very untalented person with a grossly inflated ego. He just couldn't leave it alone. He'd rather ruin his films and have millions of people loathe and despise him.

If I may politely disagree just a little. I think that asking why God allows the death penalty (or suffering, or evil to exist or the "bad" to prosper, etc) is a valid question. Those types of questions were asked by a number of people in the Old Testament. The hubris comes in, I think, when the question takes on a tone of "What were you thinking, God?" When suffering touches your own life, it is fine to ask why. What is not fine, though, is believing that we know more than God, that we are more good than He is and that if we were in His shoes we would have done things differently.

Canuck,

For the 100th time, it is almost irrelevant if Cain is innocent or guilty. What outrages conservatives is the clear double standard about how the media treat these things depending on who is on the hot seat. If Clinton is accused, they cover for him. If Clarence Thomas is accused they go after him. If John Edwards is accused, they cover it up. If there is even a hint about John McCain, they report it as fact. All conservatives are assumed to be guilty all the time. They must prove their innocence to liberals' satisfaction. Liberals are assumed to be pure hearted saints who are unfairly attacked by hate filled conservatives.

After saying all that, I'm sure you still don't get it.

'America's "indordinate fear of communism"

Very telling. The left never had a clue how dangerous communism was. That's why they opposed those who fought it and why they support communism's legitimate cousin: socialism.
