well in my opinion those are our strongest 11.

cole plays well but in patches. he is never consistent. his goal tally vs the number of games he played for west ham says it all. if he was up to scratch we wouldn't have the need to invest in forwards. even sam does not trust him, that;s why he brought in carew & kep piquionne in the summer ( although they both disappointed)

what's the use of buying 2 proven goal scores in january to leave them on the bench?

ok he does all talking you mentioned but his football is below par which is very disappointing. last season he was much better for newcastle.

we do not afford to play with 9 outfield players just becasue he's a good leader. results against the top 7 teams are proof to this.

Ian - I agee abot tomkins. he played well but he's much more better and comfortable in central defence.

I was disappointed by faye in the goal conceeded....not to mention nolan's tackle.

BIG SAM - the team showed you we do not depend on NOLAN. Leave him out when he does not perform and we still have a strong midfield.
We need leaders in both the dressing room and te pitch.

today's game is live proof how much nolan is usually un effective or invisible during a game. we hardly felt his absence!!
bring on another pplayer instead of him and we'll be much better..COYI!

the stupid captain's send off will be a blessing in disguise.......3 good games without him and we can leave him to rot on the bench................I wish!
