You put down some great thoughts here. I'll start with your first sentence. "God does not want people in hell" - How can this be true if he plans on them being there? "If evil did not exist, how would anyone glorify God for his mercy, forgiveness, compassion...?" - Did adam and eve glorify God? Do the angels in heaven? Will anyone when God abolishes evil forever? And why would he even do that if he needed it to be glorified? You rejoice when someone receives their sentencing for a crime? Wow. It saddens me deeply. I get that it has to happen - the guy is getting what he deserves - but that is really really sad to me. I don't believe these people are living the lives they were intended to live.
